Luca Paola Guevara Medina (aka luxiiien) is a Mexican illustrator and author of the “Kooky Critters” web comic. They graduated with a degree in Digital Animation Engineering, Honorable Mention, at Universidad Anáhuac Mayab in 2022.
​
They have been drawing for as long as they can remember, and have preferred digital illustration since university. They draw inspiration for their artwork from many places, including Studio Ghibli films, video games and the beautiful flora and fauna of the Yucatán Peninsula.

Some of Luca's hobbies include drawing, playing video games, watching video essays, bird watching and looking for cool bugs.
